privacy policy.
This policy explains what personal data Greenbird Company Limited collects, why, who it is shared with and the choices you have. It covers greenbirdlabs.com and the mobile and web applications we publish on the App Store and Google Play under our own name ("our apps"). Apps we design and build for clients are governed by that client's own privacy policy.
who we are.
Greenbird Company Limited (company registration number 0105564122576) is a company registered in Bangkok, Thailand. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. The quickest way to reach us about anything in it is support@greenbirdlabs.com; if you need a postal address for a formal notice, email us and we will provide one.
what we collect on this website.
The contact form: your name, work email address, what you tell us about your project, the platform, timeline and scope you pick, and whether you asked for the monthly studio note. We only collect what you type in.
Technical logs: our hosting provider records the IP address, browser type, requested page and time of each request for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to build profiles.
Preferences: the dark mode switch is stored in your browser's local storage on your device and is never sent to us. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.
what our apps collect.
Each of our apps only collects what it needs to work. Depending on the app this can include an account (email address, name, sign-in identifier), the content you create inside the app, device and diagnostic data (device model, operating system version, crash reports, performance data), and purchase records supplied by Apple or Google — we never see your card details.
The exact data each app collects is declared in its App Store privacy details and Google Play data safety section, and inside the app itself. Where an app collects anything beyond what is listed here, its own in-app policy says so and takes precedence for that app.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
why we use it.
To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to prepare and deliver that work (performance of a contract, or steps you asked for before one).
To send the monthly studio note when you have opted in (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any studio note or writing to support@greenbirdlabs.com.
To run, secure and improve the website and our apps, including fixing crashes and preventing abuse (our legitimate interests).
To process purchases you make in our apps and keep the records the law requires (performance of a contract and legal obligation).
To comply with laws that apply to us, including Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA).
international transfers.
Some of the processors above store data outside Thailand, including in the United States and the European Union. Where that happens we rely on data-processing agreements with contractual safeguards that meet the PDPA's requirements for transfers abroad.
how long we keep it.
Enquiries and related correspondence: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
Studio note subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, then your address is removed from our list within 30 days.
App accounts and content: for as long as your account is active, and no longer than 30 days after you delete it (see below).
Purchase and invoice records: 5 years, as Thai accounting and tax law requires, even after an account is deleted.
Diagnostic and crash data: up to 12 months, after which it is deleted or fully anonymised.
Technical logs: up to 30 days.
deleting your account and data.
If one of our apps lets you create an account, you can delete it from the account or settings screen inside the app (look for delete account), or from https://greenbirdlabs.com/delete-account, or by emailing support@greenbirdlabs.com from the address on the account. We delete the account and the personal data tied to it within 30 days. The only data we keep afterwards is what the law requires: purchase and invoice records for 5 years, and crash reports that are already anonymised.
You can also ask us at any time to delete data you gave us through this website.
your rights.
Under the PDPA you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to how we use it, and withdraw consent you have given. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before. Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you also have the rights it gives you.
Write to support@greenbirdlabs.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you can complain to Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee or to the supervisory authority where you live.
children.
This website and our apps are not directed at children. If you are under 20 and in Thailand, or under the age of digital consent where you live, we need your parent's or guardian's permission before you sign up for the studio note or create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 10; if you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
security.
All connections to the website and our apps use TLS encryption. Access to personal data is limited to the people who need it, protected by strong authentication, and reviewed regularly. No method of storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
changes to this policy.
We will post any changes on this page and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your data we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
